In collabaration with Mayberry and others,my new Mantra is starve the beast.Dont know if he coined the phrase or not but he's first I heard it from and I like it.
Whats it mean? Don't buy anything unless it directly affects your survival. Of course we can not elimanate everything from our lives but we can cut out nonesstentials, like Dakin cut the heat down as low as you can stand it,try to use elec,as minimaly as possible.
Do keep vehicles tuned and running good, yeah you gottaa buy parts once in a while but you need vehicle for survival anyway, including daily life for now,so dont waste gas.Tune up,route as many stops as possible together one circuit for several stops will save gas.
Once you start thinking about it lots of things start coming to mind. I am seeing more an more of us thinking along same lines, collective concsiousness of redneck preppers. Damn we could be a Force to be Reckonned with!!!!!!!!! Ok even you non rednecks can join.
If you haven't done so in last day or two you have Gotta check out Mayberry and Old Lightning!!! These fellas are Thinkin !!!!!!
Buy seeds grow your own food, maybe not all but,but every damn penny ya can keep from the beast is gonna Help!
Lets, what do they call it ,make this go viral.Starve The Beast!!!!

Thanks for the mention, and no, I didn't coin the phrase. I think I got it from Big John Lipscomb, but I'm not sure. I sure would love for this to go viral, but I ain't holding my breath...
ReplyDeleteWell man all we can do is try we're putting it out,its up to the people now.lipservice is easy, I'm stating to starve em now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hat-tip. Actually, "Starve the Beast" can be traced back to the tax protests of the 60s. We just thought we had high taxes then, LOL. Still a good practice today, though. Any way, any how.
