No, I hate to say it, but the American people won't call enough. Not anytime soon anyways. Too complacent, too afraid of upsetting their own cart, too afraid of their government. Most alive today have been raised in the indoctrination centers called public schools, and want to believe what they are told, so they do. The momentum is behind the ones pushing for it, and its gaining not losing.

We have families documented as to have been on 4+ generations straight. If they were going to grow tired of it, I think they would have done so a long time ago. How many on welfare have the money to go traveling by plane very often? So why would they care if "the rich" grumble about being groped?
ReplyDeleteI worked next door to the welfare building years ago. People would drive up in cars nicer than I will EVER own(like Mercedes and BMW), park in places clearly marked as NOT welfare office parking(because they feel like we owed them something), get out wearing nicer clothes than I could ever afford(nope, wasn't Sunday either), prance happily in to drop off their paperwork(clearly not disabled), and run back out laughing. This was in an economy where jobs were not scarce. I've known a few. None of them wants to work when the can live off us. Their vote counts more than mine. Anybody who thinks they will be happy to give it up need only look at Greece and Madison WI.
Trying to do something about the politicians right now in an effort to control spending is like trying to fight off a cold by treating your sniffles. It does nothing to correct the underlying problem. You need to go after the microbe behind the cold rather than the symptom, then the symptom will go away anyways. Till we can reduce THEIR numbers, there is nothing we can do about the politicians THEY elect.
This country no longer has enough tax paying citizens to undo the damage by going that route. The only 2 ways left open to correct it is total collapse(like the Soviet Union), which could take generations to rid ourselves of the underlying problems, or a shooting war. It is my belief that many parts of the rest of the planet will force the second on us when they start to get pissed off at their being stiffed for the money we borrowed(through inflation).

Pretty fair assessment I would say!I have seen the types to which you refer.No without force they won't change.Us taxpayers are a dying breed.I think many of us will and are saying fuck it,why feed all the cockroaches? Many are going Galt.It will take a while,but without taxpayer dollars to bailout,reallocate to the (poor),fund illegal aliens(new liberal voters)the fraudulent big Govt will collapse.
