Since I still can't comment on a number of blogs yet,I shall respond here! Blue brother I am damn sorry about your loss.Can any one out there give me good reason my why Private Anthony Earl Peterson should of died in the Republic of Vietnam? Or my Uncle Private Thomas White? Just for the official record These are my comments and if I piss anyone off I said em not Blue! I was born in 62 so I never made it to Nam. Like a lot of young people my patriotic streak came out later in life. What was it 58,000 or so troops died in the Nam? Why? Why did we lose that war? It wasn't do to a lack of brave badass warriors!
You a tell an American he has to fight for his country,most of em are gonna kick ass! Yet with superior forces,Superior numbers,better training,better equipment,etc,etc we lost! Why? I thought we to fighting to spread DEMOCRACY. So many bullshit rules of engagement.Do not bomb the rubber plantations,don't shot at the temples.Did we lose cause Uncle Ho was a better military leader or better financed? We straight fuckin bailed out on the south Vietnamese and our Lao helpers and others. Not the grunts but the Politicians.
We Lost due to Politicians. The same breed that are pushing Iran to war.The same politicians who are waging War on Americans under the disguise of THE WAR on TERROR.Sounds noble and scary all at the time don't it? Fighting terrorism Hell how can that be a bad thing? Except for the fact even Fox news showed there are terrorist training bases here in the U.S.of A but are the Politicians doing anything about it? Well fuck no,we don't want to infringe on their rights under the Constitution do we? Yet spying on Americans,declaring returning gulf war vets as possible domestic terrorist is ok! So I am still trying to get this shit right in my head...
The Constitution works for real Foreign Terrorist training on our soil. But doesn't mean shit when passing laws or when Americans claim rights under it!!??.
The Problem once again seems to me is Politicians! Blue and all of ya who have family fighting or paid the sacrifice I salute you all!
